I was looking to learn about wood carving when I came across a video about pyrography. The attraction was instantaneous, and I tried my first woodburning project a few days later. I loved what I had created and how immensely satisfying it felt. Ever since, it has been a journey of self-exploration that has opened a whole new world of creativity and endless possibilities. To me, pyrography is both meditative and therapeutic infusing a sense of joy and fulfillment.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Pyrography literally means <strong>\u201cwriting with fire\u201d<\/strong> and is more commonly known as <strong>\u201cwood burning\u201d<\/strong>. It is the free-handed art of decorating wood or other materials with burn marks from a heated metal tip. Although pyrography can be done on various receptive surfaces such as wood, leather, paper or bones, my favorite medium is wood due to its organic nature. My subjects, inspired by natural elements and life around me are captured with different tones of brown \u2013 from light to chestnut hues.
